Annual Run for a Noble Cause
The Run for a Noble Cause is a competitive road race great for all levels of runners from the novice to the seasoned and serious runner. A flat course, the route proceeds to Stanley Park and then back via a lovely residential area. It's short enough for those just starting out and offers a challenging competition for the accomplished runner. The finish line and race results are managed by Empire One Running Club.
For the competitive Run for a Noble Cause, first, second and third place trophies are awarded for the best overall male and female. First Place trophies are awarded to the top male and female divisions in nine of the divisions and to the top finishers in three of the divisions. Second and third place ribbons are awarded in all divisions. There are divisions for individuals and for teams. Team members may compete both in a team and an individual division.
The Walk for Good Health is a noncompetitive walk. It follows the same route as the road race.
